Maybe the media like never before trying to convince us that the world is as it always was, but the reality is: war, disease, earthquakes (for whatever reason), evil, economic crisis, and the worst is the crisis moral and spiritual, is worse than ever in the history of mankind.
What can I do with all this?
Be a Christian, believe in Jesus like the ONLY Son of God who die for our sins and resurrected the 3rd day and repent of all your sins, pray and learn the Bible.
How much time I need to dedicate to pray and learn the Bible?
The most that can you do, 1,2 or more hours per day, is for our benefit.
Why so much?
To develop our spiritual life, we are a spirit using a body. Our spiritual life is the real life.
With that I can consider myself a good Christian?
No, all what you read, prayed and meditated need to be put into practice, faith without works is dead. It is important to fix our eyes on Jesus, try to be like Jesus and so do the will of God.
This economic crisis is a punishment from God?
For Christians do not necessarily, lack of money can be a problem for our ego, pride, image to the world, but NOT for our spiritual lives, opposite the difficulties most is when God speaks to us. John on the island of Patmos when he was doing hard labor was when God showed him a big Revelation 2.000 years ago, (what is now the Book of Revelations), adversity develops our temperance, patience, kindness, mental maturity, wisdom, etc.
It is important that God is first in our lives and see all the material as trash, Christians do not belong to this world of lies, our struggle is spiritual.
Luke 12 4-7:
- And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
- But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
- Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
- But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
For God had such love for the world that he gave his only Son so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life
